From Stove Struggles to Shopping Sprees: Vienna Vibes
Today, I woke up at noon feeling a bit tired and headed to the store to buy some salmon because a friend was coming over at 1 p.m. to cook lunch. We made salmon with mashed potatoes, but it took us about two hours to finish because the stove kept turning off, so we had to take breaks while waiting for it to turn back on. After we finally ate, we chatted for a bit and then went to the nearest Lidl.
On the way, we passed by the 'Kaiser Wiesn,' which is like Austria's version of Oktoberfest. We thought about going in, but the entry was €20, and we still needed to buy things from Lidl, so we decided to skip it. After shopping, we went our separate ways. I headed to Douglas to buy a lip gloss as a birthday gift for a friend who's having a party this Saturday.
Douglas was packed today because there was an event with a 25% discount on a lot of items. It felt like a nightclub in there, but I managed to find the lip gloss, and after 15 minutes in line, I finally paid for it. Then, I returned to the dorm, had a quick chat with my sister, and went to my room to continue watching 'Shameless,' the series I started yesterday.
